The Dog Club’s youngest clients are exclusively invited to my monthly Puppy Club. This is not only a play date for your pups to socialise in a managed environment but an opportunity for you to meet other puppy owners and compare experiences! I’ll be offering refreshments and plenty of puppy advise as well!
The session will last around and hour and will take place at The Cooper Recreation Room, Main Street, Shenstone, WS14 0LZ. It’s on the junction of Pinfold Hill, a few doors down from The Plough pub and opposite The Railway pub. The venue doesn’t have a car park so please allow plenty of time to find a space on the road, of which there is usually plenty. There is a row of shops a few yards down which has parking spaces.
For everyone’s safety, please make sure that your puppy is wearing a securely fitted collar or harness and a lead. There may be opportunities for puppies to play off lead at times but it’s fine if you would rather keep your puppy on a lead for the full session. Please remember that some puppies prefer more space than others so please do ask the owner before you allow your puppy to approach theirs. We will have plenty of rests and toilet stops to make sure that the play date is a positive experience for the pups!
Please bring along some small pieces of food to use as rewards as we’ll make the most of the puppies being together by doing a bit of training during each session. We will sometimes work on settling on a mat so please bring a familiar smelling blanket or bed that your puppy is comfortable on. It’s best is it’s flat enough to fold up as you might be using it in different locations when puppy gets the hang of it.
Sometimes we may leave the hall to do some ‘real world’ training on the nearby streets around Shenstone so please do dress for the weather with comfortable footwear.
If you have any questions surrounding accessibility or mobility, please do contact me prior to the session.
Please note, your puppy must be six months old or less on the date of the session.
See you there!
